First evaluation of training checking is scheduled within the month of February 2009. Students are directed to get ready their synopsis and daily diaries, as these documents will be checked by the Teachers visiting the various companies during the training checking activity. If any students want to avail leave from company on any day, he/she is directed to intimate his/her faculty T&P Coordinator in the college as well as in the office of T&P, about the leave. Any student found absent during checking , a strict action will be taken against him/her.

The survey of all the Engineering Institutes of the country including IIT's, NIT's and Central institutes was done on criterion like infrastructure, intellectual capital, industry interface, placement performance and pedagogic systems. In the above survey, the College was ranked amongst the top twenty institutes in India in terms of infrastructure and pedagogic systems and performed creditably on other parameters and ranked 31st in the country.
